Just got back from a 6 hour ER ordeal for me. They had problems getting my fever down to a reasonable level and gave me a shot to try and take the edge off of my unbeleivable headache.  It is something viral, but not Encephilitis (sp?) at this point, but it could still escalate to that, so dh was given instructions on what to watch for and I have a script for pain so I can sleep.  I still have a bit of a fever and a touch of a headache, but not as bad as it was.  I am pretty shaky and need to go rest now.  Please keep us in your prayers, both for my healing and that Zach and Zane don’t also get sick.

Zach sneezes, I sneeze, then Zane looks at us both and says “Ah-chew”,  We laugh.  He spends the rest of the evening saying “Ah-chew.”  lol

Not pregnant again.  *sigh*  I do, however, have the worst headache I have had in years.  I took 4 IB and it isn’t touching it.  I am surprised that the pounding can’t be heard two rooms away.  ugh!

Today we went out to my parent’s farm.  It was a lot of fun.  Zane spent a lot of time in the sandpile, then a quick ride with Grandpa on the four-wheeler, then a walk with Grandma out to the end of the driveway and back (a good 1/4 mile), then he helped Grandpa fix the car, then he explored the farm with his mom (me) and Grandma some more.  Here are a few pictures from Grandma’s camera.  I still need to get my camera uploaded to the computer, so I will post some of those later.

Sitting next to the Rose Trellis

On a walk with Grandma down the driveway

Mom said he didn’t want to come back home again because he was having so much fun along the way.

Checking out the muffler situation with Grandpa.

The muffler fell off in Dad’s hands as he was looking at it.  Not a good sign.  lol.

He was so proud of himself for getting up on the ledge

There is a ledge on the side he is sitting it about mid-torso level to Zane.  Barnum came up to join him and nuzzled with him.

Lounging with his fruit leather.  (like a fruit roll-up)

You might be a redneck if…….

You back over your free 6″ rain guage with your four wheel drive pick up truck, breaking it into a bunch of piecess.  Instead of throwing it away, you get some duct tape and carefully tape the thing back together, put a PVC pipe (you just happened to have around the farm) in the ground and duct tape the guage to the top.  Now, whenever it rains, you have to run out and check to see how much it rained before it drains out because it isn’t entirely watertight anymore.

some photos to illustrate, including the bonus, an outhouse in the background.  lol.

Love you Dad!

President Bush said the other side, meaning Kerry and Edwards, just ‘talks a good game.’ Well, at least nobody can accuse Bush of that.” — Jay Leno

“John Kerry and John Edwards recently published their political promises and strategies in a book. You see that’s smart putting all their ideas in a book. This way they’re certain to keep them secret from Bush.”  – Jay Leno

Interesting coincidence we noticed today.  A few days ago our 2nd tv broke (the one in the bedroom)  Zach got the tv for college, within a week or so of starting college.  We have had it all these years, moving it across the country and back, and now, within a week of him completing college, it died.  Kind of poetic.

Zane was so cute tonight.  Zach’s aunt Y called tonight and wanted to see if Zane would talk to her.  He didn’t respond (which is typical), so later, she asked to try again.  This time she sang to him, and he sang back to her…back and forth.   It was so spectacular.  I had a great time talking to her about life.  I really miss having her around.  She was an original flower child and is very, very well educated and inciteful.  I gave her my blog address and if she might be peeking in on me (so, are your ears burning…hee hee).

Well…in the time I took to write this entry, Zane has taken off both shoes, both socks, his overalls, and his shirt is on its way off.  I better go before he gets to the diaper. lol.

Mom, this is Zane talking on the phone to you.  He walked around the living room and kitchen with the phone while rubbing his belly and scratching his butt (such a little man…lol).

Here is a shot of my guys getting the mail, one of Zane’s favorite daily activities.

He is wearing my favorite diaper…a FB with the rubber ducky embroidery I use for my icon.
