Taking the Scenic Route

She wanted to show me something in the living room.  Not sure why.

Zora has requested that Opa come up here to move the snow so we can go to the store. LMAO. (he runs the grader/snowplow for their township, an hour away)

Got a call from somebody telling me about ROCKO, was really confused as to why they were calling (did I forget something at the last event? Why are you calling?) and then realized they were fundraising. LMAO. Um, we are clients. Then they started the spiel about YMCA’s fundraising campaign…yeah, clients there too. I did wish them luck because the services are both incredibly valuable to us.

Zora misheard us and called it a Smurf car. I like her version better.

I hope she holds on to her fashion sense.  I love it.

Set her up with an easel, and this is what she does.  Don’t get the beaver kite, but it did make me smile.

During the day I kept noticing Zane taking pictures of himself with his mouth weird and doing other odd things.  I couldn’t figure out what he was doing.  While we were at the restaurant he kept working, finally producing these hilarious masterpieces with his DSi.  Cool!

Zane quickly finds the codes to enter into the website.

Zora wants to look at the books too, but without much pictures, she is left with her sense of smell.  She determines the books smell like bananas.  

First snow of the year.  Zora told us “The cars need to be shaved” before driving.

Mom’s post on Facebook today: I’ll bet Zora had ‘cabin fever’ within 15 minutes of being up for the day. She always tells me ‘I HAVE to go out every day…I just HAVE to!!!’ You have my sympathy!

As usual, mom was right.

The kids went to respite care and we headed to the mall. In the parking lot I told Zach to stop, took a picture, then told him he might want to take the sparkly rainbow pony stickers off of his shirt. I’m nice like that.
