Today we went out to my parent’s farm. It was a lot of fun. Zane spent a lot of time in the sandpile, then a quick ride with Grandpa on the four-wheeler, then a walk with Grandma out to the end of the driveway and back (a good 1/4 mile), then he helped Grandpa fix the car, then he explored the farm with his mom (me) and Grandma some more. Here are a few pictures from Grandma’s camera. I still need to get my camera uploaded to the computer, so I will post some of those later.

Mom said he didn’t want to come back home again because he was having so much fun along the way.

There is a ledge on the side he is sitting it about mid-torso level to Zane. Barnum came up to join him and nuzzled with him.
Zane was THRILLED to be able to walk on the field, the worked ground. It must have been a different sensation than he’s used to.
He certainly didn’t want to turn around after he helped gramma get the mail. It was cute.
I also got a kick out of his taking each of us (adults) by the hand when it was time to leave. Mommy kept saying that “We will go home pretty soon, Honey.” Finally he took matters into his own hands and led each of us to the door, helped us out, gave gramma and grampa each the obligatory hug, and was happy to be put into his carseat. I think we wore him out!
