How you know you are married to a nerd:

One of our local channels is often having problems in the middle of the night. It is the one where they flash the school menus and community events and such in a powerpoint type format. When it is having problems, you flip past it and see the output that goes to the computer monitor.

Last night, it had evidently crashed and was starting back up again. Instead of flipping past it like a normal person, dh stops and watches the computers boot back up and he and Robert were commenting on the size of the various components of the system (reading the start up screens). They did this for a good 20 minutes.
