Zach just called.  He is being taken out to eat by somebody, or a group or something, so he won’t be home for a while yet.  He felt good about the day.  I am sure I will hear more details later, but he needed to go get some coffee before the dinner so he didn’t fall asleep reading the menu.  lol.

On another note, I have seen the “Hathor” strip linked on other parenting boards I lurk at and just feel like doing a little happy dance and yelling “Hey!  That was me!”  hee hee.  Just feels sort of cool.  You don’t get feedback as a SAHM like you do at a job, so I am stoked just being on the fringes right now.

Now I have to go try yet again to wake Zane up from his nap.  He woke up with us this morning (unexpected) after only 5 hours of sleep.  He wouldn’t go down for a nap until 1:30, and had a hard time getting to sleep.  Now he doesn’t want to wake back up.  I sit him up and he falls asleep sitting.  lol.  Should make for an interesting evening.  Luckily, Zach doesn’t go to school of Fridays, so he can make up for lost sleep in the morning.  I, however, have to be out of here by 7:30am or so to get to the Glucose test tomorrow morning.  I can’t eat anything after 8pm tonight, so I hope Zach gets back home in time to bring me some hamburger or something so I can get a good protein load before the cut-off.  I could fill up on carbs, but that is really going to give me a headache and make my cravings insane by morning.  I am probably going to have to go to bed early tonight just to keep from eating.  lol.

  • Yes he will out grow it, after a certain age people will stop thinking they can control how he thinks and acts, so it won’t be a problem anymore. — (on autism) ShaggyDaddy (MDC)
