I am love, love, LOVING the new Little House on the Prairie miniseries. It is so much more true to the original books than the 70s series was. The only thing that is driving me absolutely batty is the cinematography. They really need to give the camera to somebody who has not overdosed on coffee. I know, it is for ‘effect’, but it is distracting and giving me a headache.
We cleaned today. yeah! Still have dishes stacked in the kitchen, but Zane’s room and our main living area is clean. Probably will start on the laundry as soon as Little House is over (on a commercial right now).
Zach worked on the collaboration study yesterday and, barring further changes (which is entirely possible), it is done. He told them to try and break it and hasn’t gotten any emails yet to say they cracked it, so that is good.
Zane is in a jumping phase. He hops from room to room, leaps off the couch, gets on the little tyke’s type table and leaps off. It is a bit insane. He either climbs up on things to stand on his head and/or leap off of it. It is just plain a miracle we haven’t had any ER visits with our little monkey.
The other funny he does is the result of Zach. When Zach was helping hold Zane’s pants for him to step into one time, one finger slipped shooting the pants away from him like snapping a rubber band. Both of them laughed at that, and now whenever Zane dresses himself he will hold the pants in front of himself, then throw them off to the side and giggles so hard he falls over.

I can’t believe I have missed this!! I’m a huge LH fan (I’ve seen all of the old ones multiple times and read all of the books multiple times). I hope they replay them or put them on DVD or something
who’s doing this miniseries??? I LOVED the Little House books and read all of them as a kid. But I hated the TV show. If this is more true to the books I’d love to see it!
