I was about Zane’s age here. The photographer who took these was a friend of my folks’. He took these to contests and won! Way back in the ’50’s he flew all over the nation to judge contests. He became one of the top photographers in the nation. He asked mom if I would be a model for him to ‘practice’ at the beginning of his career. I think he did good!! I remember taking these. I thought it was wierd to put sand on a table top when I had a really nice sandpile at home!
The third picture is one he kept in the entry way to his studio until the studio burned. Mom said it was a huge picture. I don’t remember that part.
