Playing at the park

He really isn’t a toddler any more, is he.  *sigh*

Zane loved the train.  He kept trying to dislodge the fence and crawl under it.  I actually had to disentagle him from the fence this time because he wedged himself under the fence almost to his waist between the taking of this photo and running to him to keep him from getting under the fence.  lol.

He was pretty sober after thwarting his fence jumping.

Playing his “Dora the Explorer” Game

He has actually figured out how to start the game up from the desktop and plays it quite a bit.  He amazes us.

Daniel has that red shirt! In fact, he’s wearing it now.

Wow, you are right.  He is definitley exhibiting non-toddler behavior.  I will mourn the loss with you, but also celebrate the growth :)   Where is that train at? I MUST take Zep there.

Bianca-That train is in “Military Park” in Newton, KS.  It is on the other side of Wichita for you, about half an hour down I-35, so it would be a long trip for you.  We are planning on going to the Transportation Museum in Old Town sometime.  I heard there is a train on the tracks nearby you can see.  There is also a hobby store in Wichita called Engine House Hobbies that looks like it has a lot of trains out on display (at least it looks like it in the commercials).  We were thinking of doing a “train day” and visit both sometime soon.  If you want to do that together I would be up for it.  It would have to be a few weeks (need to wait a few paychecks), but I think it would be a great outing.

Midnight Owl- isn’t it weird when you see other kids in your kid’s clothes?!  I have run across that a few times in blog pictures (might have even been yours, I can’t remember) and it always seems sort of strange to me.

COOL train – I’d be wanting to hop the fence as well.
