Taking the Scenic Route

I think Zane had a growth spurt.  The pants he wore out on the farm a few days ago now only have to be rolled up about an inch to hit the end of his leg the same place and today his diapers with snaps suddenly have to be fastened one notch tighter to keep them from falling off.  So, he must have slimmed down and shot up overnight.  We will have to try and measure him when he wakes up.

Fun Zane game….we drew a number of circles (in chalk) on the carpet (looks sort of like the transporter pads from Star Trek) and he has had a ball jumping from one circle to the other, counting his jumps.  So funny and it uses up a lot of energy when we are stuck inside. 

He has a lot larger vocabulary than he is letting on.  Zach and I have both “caught” him naming off the pictures in his books when he doesn’t realize he is being watched.  Today he finally showed us that he can say “apple” even though we have heard him saying it to his picture books for a while.
