Enzymes

posted in Autistic Life, Biomed, Zane |

Somebody suggested to me that I blog exactly what I am doing with the Enzymes and such, and so I will.

The enzymes I he started on yesterday was Lacto by Enzymedica.  We are giving him partial capsules with each meal and will work our way up to a full capsule.  It is a broad spectrum, lower potency enzyme that helps digest lactose and casein.  (dairy stuff).

Once he is to a full capsule, we will add in GlutenEase, a protease thera-blend (stronger).  It has DPP-IV to help with both gluten and casein.

From my understanding, you often don’t have noticable adjustment symptoms until you add the GlutenEase, but it is better to build up to it rather than just hit their systems with everything at once.  I am finding it hard to be patient though.  lol.  (my mom would not be suprised at that)

At this point, there is nothing to report, negative or positive as far as any outward signs of anything.
