You know what would make this the perfect meal?
oh…and the grater for the parmesan.
where is that *&$(#_$*%T box?!?
What could be the source of the excited anticipation?
There it is!
Almost here!
hee hee
And the guy was so excited to see Zane out there just to watch him, he invited him to come watch it compact from the back.
I think we made the day for both Zane and the guy who picked up the trash. He was so happy and even made an extra round back to beep the horn and wave good-bye to Zane before he went to the next street. It was quite sweet.

strawberry girl
helping dad put together a tv/game stand to replace the big black monstrosity we got from some former neighbors, but did not drag over from the old place.
Zane loves this ducky and requests it on occasion. (you can turn it on to make it vibrate). While he was laying there, he was singing the rubber ducky song and Zora came over to first try and write on him (I took away her pen), then try and put stickers on him. While she was there, she ripped a big ole fart and Zane loudly comments “Now there is a poop!”. lol. We have been working for months to get him to have spontaneous commenting on his environment, and what a way to demonstrate him incorporating that skill into daily life. rotf!

Plugged in the external hard drive where we keep the photos and I found a few shots that I didn’t have time to post before
ah…isn’t she sweet..
…in that evil genius sort of way
When he drew this, we couldn’t understand what he was trying to tell us about it. He hadn’t drawn in ages, so we were really excited to see him initiating a desire to draw again, so, aside from understanding it was “house”, we weren’t getting what it was about and finally just decided to be happy he was drawing again. When I was flipping past this photo tonight, it made me smile to see it, but then it struck me *what* it was. It was his way of drawing the move. The two homes, connected by a curved road (there is a curve in between the two places IRL) and the new, bigger place had a tree and grass and a chimney. Whoa.
Such amazing, beautiful hands.
Zach was taking photos of the old place, he snapped a picture of ‘my corner’ with my new desk. It is like a little time capsule. lol.

Some things in life are bad
—
They can really make you mad
Other things just make you swear and curse.
When you’re chewing on life’s gristle
Don’t grumble, give a whistle
And this’ll help things turn out for the best…
And…always look on the bright side of life…
Always look on the light side of life..
