Zora had a weigh-in today. She is 5 lbs 0.7 oz. WooHoo! I have also noticed the last day or so she has begun to unfurl herself and stretch out her legs. Until now, she has pretty much always had her legs curled up to her body all the time. Her legs are now poking out the bottom of the smallest of her preemie outfits (the ones Zach got), but still fits in all of the rest of her preemie outfits. The next size up is still way too big.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SUNSHINE!!!
Since you haven’t posted in a couple of days, I’ll just have to wish you a happy birthday (cyber-wise) under your good news about Zora.
Those few years ago when you were born, it was an icy, foggy, cold night. Your dad was there for your birth at 1:03 a.m., but it was a couple of days until he saw you again, because the roads were so slick with a thick coat of mirror-like ice.
You entered the world ‘on time’, but you, too, were 4 lbs 8 oz and 17.5 inches little. Your Grandpa E and Grandma S stood at the nursery window and wondered how such a tiny baby was going to make it in the world. You showed them!!!
I’ll see you in a couple of hours at our favorite Italian resteraunt, where your brother and sister-in-law will join us. I look forward to giving you a big hug!
So…Happy Birthday…and many moooooore!!!!
