Kansas State Fair 2005
We went yesterday, opening day of the Fair. It was a good choice, even though the petting zoo wasn’t set up yet. The fairgrounds were not very crowded and the weather was nice. Perfect weather with just enough of a breeze to keep us from overheating.
My parents met us and brought their wagon thing. It worked like a dream (the thing was nothing to pull, even loaded down) and Zane actually spent a lot of time sitting and just watching the world around him. There was a lot to absorb and I am glad we had an option for him other than walking or riding on shoulders.

Jennifer, you are looking quite foxy! That day looks like so much fun and relaxing. Last year we went and I hated it, so hot and crowded. Maybe I will take zep.

I had such a fun time with you guys. I’m so thankful that you share your family with us. What a blessing!
It was fun to watch him react to the train. His eyes really lit up. He was absolutely mesmerized. I was looking forward to that experience from the time I started hoping that we could join you at the fair. He was as excited as I thought he might be. Too cute!
It was also fun to watch your dad interact with Zane. I think, too, that he is a lot more comfortable with Zane being a bit older.
Thanks again for sharing this fun time with us. We really enjoyed ourselves.

Aww, you guys make a cute family! And I agree with bionicsquirrel, you are beautiful! I am glad Zane and you all had fun! We didn’t/won’t get to go to the fair, but it is really hot here anyway, so we probably wouldn’t get to see/do too much. Hope you have a good day!

Wonderful pictures! You are positively glowing, and your men are so darling. Zane is growing and changing so much – it’s great to see his life chronicled in this fashion.
