We love to play Carcassone as a family. Even the 3 year old can work within the basic rules.
Is that some of your German yarn? My mom brought me back 8 skeins of Regia sock yarn and 3 skeins of Lana Grossa from her Munich trip. Needless to say, I was thrilled.
Yes, it is some of my German yarn. I can really see Carcassone becoming a staple in our family too. German games and German yarn…can’t beat it.
We call Carcassone, “Fight In a Box” in my family. It almost always ends in a fight. We seem to do better with Settler’s of Catan or Ticket to Ride (Europe edition).
Guillotine ( http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000ARTT7S/?tag=googhydr-20&hvadid=2711893431&ref=pd_sl_5fhrztrkf_e ) is also a fun game.
Oh…Guillotine looks good. When I clicked on the link, one of the related items was “The Great Dalmuti”, a game we used to have a blast playing with Robert & Dori. We really got into it. The lesser peon had to sit on a milkcrate instead of a chair and serve food and drinks to everybody and was the slave to the Great Dalmuti..complete with crown, robe and sceptor. Ahh..memories. Keep in mind, all four of us have worked in Theatre, so it got really over the top.
